Privacy Policy — Realms of Crossaria

This explains what we collect when you visit crossariamc.com, play on the server, or buy something. The short version: we collect what the server needs to run and what a purchase needs to be delivered, and nothing else.

1.What we collect

When you play: your Minecraft username and UUID, your IP address, connection timestamps, chat messages and commands, and your in-game activity such as builds, claims, and inventory. Server logs and anti-cheat records are part of this.

When you buy: the Minecraft username and UUID you enter, and the transaction record Tebex returns to us. Tebex separately collects your email, billing details, and payment information as merchant of record — we never receive your card number.

When you visit this site: we store your Minecraft username, basket, and music player settings in your browser's local storage so the page remembers you. Requests to our store load data from Tebex and to Mojang's public profile service to verify the username you type. Standard server access logs may record your IP and user agent.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.

2.Why we collect it

To run the server, deliver purchases, and restore items after a bug or rollback.
To moderate: investigating rule breaks, cheating, griefing, and ban evasion. IP addresses are used to detect alt accounts of banned players.
To handle support requests, refunds, and payment disputes.
To keep the service secure and available.

Our legal basis is contractual necessity for delivering purchases, and legitimate interest for moderation and security.

3.Who we share it with

Tebex, for payment processing. Our hosting and infrastructure providers, who store the server files and logs. Mojang, when we look up a username you enter. Discord, if you join our community server, under their own policy. We will disclose data to law enforcement where legally required.

4.How long we keep it

Chat and command logs are kept for 90 days. Ban records, including the associated username, UUID, and IP, are kept indefinitely so bans remain enforceable. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years. World data is kept as long as the world exists.

5.Your rights

Depending on where you live you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@crossariamc.com from the address associated with your purchase, or contact staff in Discord, and we will respond within 30 days.

Deletion has limits: we will not delete ban records, because that would let a banned player return, and we cannot delete records we are legally required to keep. You can clear the data this site stores in your browser at any time by clearing site data.

6.Children

The server is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that a player under 13 has given us personal data, we will delete what we can and remove the account.

7.Changes
